Head Start Open For Fall Enrollment

Applications are now being taken to fill those spots with eligible 3- to 5-year-old children.
Head Start is a federally funded preschool program for children of low-income families, aimed at assuring every child starts kindergarten with the basic skills that make them ready to learn.
Classes are out of session for the summer but will resume in September with six-hour classes in all locations.
Early Head Start, the corresponding home-based program for pregnant moms and children under age 3, is also accepting applications.
