Dan and Tina Warren, Warsaw, announce the engagement of their daughter, Elissa Haywood, Independence, Iowa, to Ben Dodge, Brandon, Iowa. He is the son of Merlin and Linda Dodge, Brandon. Haywood also is the daughter of the late Mark Haywood.
The bride-to-be is pastor of worship and discipleship at Hope Wesleyan Church, Independence. She graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School, Akron, in 2001, earned a bachelor’s degree in youth ministriy from  Indiana Wesleyan University in 2005 and a master’s degree in Christian ministry from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2011.
The groom-elect is a farmer for Toale Farms, Independence. He graduated from Independence High School in 2006 and earned a bachelor’s deree in economics from the University of Iowa in 2011.
