Al and Norma Hayes, of 54 EMS T32-C Lane, Leesburg, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary July 11, 2010. Al and the former Norma Reeves were married July 15, 1960, at College Avenue United Methodist Church, Muncie, by the Rev. Donald Barnes.

They are the parents of two sons, James K., Warsaw, and John K., Celeste, Texas; and the grandparents of five grandchildren.

They lived in Muncie for 29 years as Al was a supervisor with GM and Norma was an elementary music teacher in the area. They moved to their summer home in 1979 when they started Stanley Steemer Carpet Cleaner. After they sold the business, he became a rural mail carrier and she worked for Flexsteel. She now is the organist for Leesburg United Methodist Church.

Their sons invite you to attend an open house Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Leesburg Lion's Club, Leesburg. Friends are welcome to attend. No gifts please.
