He was born Aug. 26, 1936, in Tustin, Mich., to Harry L. and Norma Plumhoff Rees. On Feb. 12, 1972, in Tustin, he married Geraldine L. Rolf, who died Dec. 3, 1999.
He was a graduate of Tustin High School. He worked construction for various contractors and retired in 1994. He was a Warsaw resident since 1988 after moving from Big Rapids, Mich. He enjoyed his friends.
Surviving are a son; Brett Rees, Warsaw; a granddaughter, Kristy Rees, Warsaw; a brother, Robert Rees, Tustin; and two sisters, Darlene and Nancy Rees, both of Tustin.
No calling or services are planned. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.
