Harry Arthur West, 69, of Monticello, Ky., and formerly of Warsaw, died April 30, 2008, in Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Somersetr, Ky.

He was born July 18, 1938, in Monticello, to Cecil and Elmer McDaniel West. He married Mary Loubert, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, DeWayne (and spouse Tahnee) West, Leesburg; two daughters, Tammy (and spouse Curtis) West Taylor, Petersburg, and Connie West, Indianapolis; two stepdaughters, Patricia (and spouse Paul) Brown, Virginia Beach, Va., and Sherri (and spouse Brad) Simpson, Gainesville, Fla.; three brothers, Henry (and spouse Mary) West and Walter (and spouse Sharon) West, both of Frankfort, and Rex (and spouse Cathy) West, Monticello; a sister, Carrie (and spouse Charles) Bates, Monticello; six grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and two step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two stepsons, three brothers and seven sisters.

Services were Sunday at Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home, Chapel with Bro. Danny Lawless officiating. Burial was today in Harrison Center Cemetery, Etna Green.[[In-content Ad]]
