Leah Nicole "Nikki" Harris and Jared Scott Palmer were married at 6 p.m., Dec. 29, 2006, at Christ United Methodist Church, Milton, Fla., with the Rev. Jason Barker, cousin of the bride, officiating. The bride is the daughter of Phil and Marba Harris of Pace, Fla. The groom is the son of Clif and Rhoda Palmer, Warsaw.

Maid of honor was Lisa Michael, Alaska, and matron of honor was Lisa Stewart, sister of the bride, Florida. Bridesmaids were Leslie Specht, North Carolina, and Jill Massey, Florida. Junior bridesmaid was Alicia Baxter, goddaughter of the groom, Warsaw.

Best man was Van Haupert, North Manchester. Groomsmen were Corey Palmer, brother of the groom, Winona Lake, and Scott Silveus and Dale McCray, both of Warsaw.

A reception was held at the Imogene Theater, Milton.

The bride is employed at Park's Place, Glennallen, Alaska. She is a graduate of the University of Florida.

The groom is a student at Alaska Bible College and is employed at Cross Road Medical Center, Glennallen. He is a graduate of Warsaw Community High School and Grace College.

Both the bride and the groom will receive one- and two-year Bible Certificates respectively from Alaska Bible College, Glennallen, in May. They plan to reside in Warsaw following a summer in Alaska.
