NORTH MANCHESTER – Harold R. Wrightsman, 82, Silver Lake, died at 9:56 p.m. Dec. 27, 2013, in Kosciusko Community Hospital.
He was born April 2, 1931, to Raymond and Nellie Flora Wrightsman. On March 29, 1952, he married Esther M. Lewis, who survives.
He served in Korea with the United States Army. He attended  Manchester Bible Church, North Manchester. He worked 21 years at Tri-State Harvester, Silver Lake, and retired in 1995 following 10 years employment at Fasson-Avery Dennison Co., Fort Wayne. He was an avid fisherman.
Surviving are one son, Michael Wrightsman, Silver Lake; two daughters, Joyce (and spouse Tom) Higgs, Harlan, and Debra Wrightsman, Fort Wayne; two brothers, Paul Wrightsman, North Manchester, and Ronnie (and spouse Louella) Wrightsman, Warsaw; two sisters, Eileen (and spouse Herman) Beachler, North Manchester, and Carol Grindle, Laketon; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Ulrey, who died Dec. 6, 2011; a son, Jerry Wrightsman, who died Nov. 13, 1977; and a sister, Patricia Cook, who died May 24, 2008.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 114W, North Manchester, with Arthur Cook officiating. Burial will be in Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery.
Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
