SYRACUSE – Harold L. Perkins, 66, of Syracuse, died at 4:54 p.m. April 18, 2013, in I.U. Goshen Hospital. He was born May 26, 1946, in Jackson County, Mo., to Harold W. and Ruby F. Mace Perkins. He married Shireen D. “Dee Dee” Hoover Davis, who survives. He graduated from high school in Missouri and from Colorado State University. He served in the U.S. Marines during Vietnam. He formerly traveled through the United States for RGIS, converting acquisition stores into CVS Stores from 2000-05; was a computer administrator for Pacifica (Calif.) Inc. from 1996-2000; and formerly worked at the Hunt Club, Colorado. He moved to Syracuse from California in 2002 and was a former member of the 7th Day Adventist Church. Also surviving are five daughters, Victoria Lynn Steele, Mesa, Ariz.; Rebecca Alene (and spouse Kirk) Stanton, Wichita, Kan.; and Angela Jean, Stephanie Michelle and Sarah Elizabeth Perkins, all of Grandview, Mo.; two sons, William Albert, Saginaw, Texas, and Michael Edward Perkins, Audubon, Iowa; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two stepdaughters, Stephenie (and spouse Forrest) Boesenberg and Shaundra (and spouse Todd) Jones, all of Syracuse. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor Dave Boesenberg officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
