Harold D. Drudge, Sebring, Fla., formerly of Claypool, was called home to his Lord and Savior Jan. 11, 2016.
His parents were Walter and Beatrice Drudge. He was married to Carrol Sue Drudge, his wife of 60 years, who survives.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as a corporal during the Korean Conflict. He spent his career as a water well driller, owner/operator of G & K Well Drilling, Columbia City.
A former Boy Scout Leader, and member of Claypool Lions Club, he moved to Sebring, Fla., after his retirement in 1998. He was a devout Christian, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and neighbor to many.
He also will be lovingly remembered by three children: Doug (and spouse Deb) Drudge, Tammi (and spouse Gary) Morgan, Shelly (and spouse Phil) Thomas; six grandchildren: Nikki (and spouse Jason) Holloway, Sam Thomas, Abby (and spouse Darr) Parker, Dani (and spouse Robert) Niedbalski, Katie Thomas and Jason Banter; a great-grandchild, Payton Niedbalski; and three “special” grandchildren: Adam, Andrea (Warner) Wright and Ashley Sue Warner; and three sisters: Lois Smith, Maryanna Sprong and Janie Jr. Stutzman. He was proceeded in death by his parents and a brother, James Drudge.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate his life will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at South Pleasant United Methodist Church, North Manchester. Burial was in Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, Fla.
Calling is from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the church.
