Harmony Marketing Group employees recently were challenged by a co-worker to help out this Christmas season by giving back to local needs.
The Harmony employees found out about a Triton Schools Christmas break food drive that helped provide meals for students who, over the Christmas break, would not be eating lunch without school assistance, and also a local single parent family recently unemployed with two children that were in great financial need. The 45 full-time employees of Harmony stepped up to the challenge and donated $1,195 themselves. Harmony corporate added matching funds for a total of $2,390. The school lunch program received $500, and the local family received $1,890.
Tim Harman, Harmony Marketing Group president, congratulated the employees recently at their Christmas luncheon.
“It is an honor to have great employees; it is humbling to have Great employees who sacrifice for the needs of others,” Harman said.
