Jerry and Carolyn Hapner, Syracuse, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 21.
Jerry and the former Carolyn Denton were married Nov. 21, 1964 at Syracuse Church of the Brethren by Pator Ralph Wagoner. They are the parents of four children: John (and spouse Kim) Hapner, Muncie; Cynthia (and spouse Moses) Mihingo and Irene Hapner, all of Syracuse; and Faith Hapner, Bellefontaine, Ohio. They also have 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren with two more due in November.
Jeffy is self-employed in lawn care He retired from Salem Insurance, Goshen. They are members of Vineyard Community Church of Syracuse.
The couple will celebrate at an open house hosted by their children and their families from 2 to 5 p.m. Nov. 22 at Vineyard Community Church. Friends and family are invited. to help them celebrate.

Get To Know The Team: Warsaw Captains Q&A
Earlier this week, I had the privilege of going to a Warsaw football practice and speaking with four of the team’s five captains.
