Bob and Nancy Hamman marked their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 8, 2008. Bob Hamman and Nancy Wilder were married Feb. 8, 1958, at the Remington Christian Church with the Rev. Omer Collins officiating.

He is a retired elementary teacher and principal of 41 years. She manages the Fudgery & Soda Shop at Amish Acres in Nappanee.

The couple have five children: Tim (and spouse Diane) Hamman, East Lake, Ohio; Kelly Sutton, Nappanee; Rod (and spouse Sherrill) Hamman, Etna Green; Kina (and spouse Tom) Hinz, Plymouth; and Keela (and spouse Wes) Runnells, Atwood. They also have 13 grandchildren and a great-grandson.

The couple will celebrate the anniversary with an open house hosted by their children March 22 at the Inn at Amish Acres in Nappanee from 2 to 4 p.m.[[In-content Ad]]
