Arthur Haas and the former Janet Jeffers, Warsaw, were united in marriage Jan. 31, 1964, by the Rev. Eldon Evans at the Walnut Church of the Brethren, near Argos.
An anniversary reception is planned for the couple by their children, and will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1101 N. CR 175E, Warsaw.
Their children are Lori (and spouse John) Miser, Krestwood, Ky.; Kelly (and spouse Dan) Snelson and Beth (and spouse Dennis) Doucette, both of Centerville, Ohio; and Patrick (and spouse Megan) Haas, Warsaw.
