John Gunter and Lorrie Stout, both of Warsaw, announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Gunter, Warsaw, to Chris VanDurmen, Warsaw. He is the son of Joyce Lightner, South Bend.

The bride-to-be works at Aseptic Fill Tech, Biomet, Warsaw. She graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 2006 and is currently attending Ivy Tech Community College for hospitality management with a concentration in event management, graduating in 2012.

The groom-elect is a student. He graduated from John Glenn, Walkerton, in 2003 and is currently attending Ivy Tech Community College for business administration.
