Guns Stolen From Home Of Conservation Officer

PIERCETON - Anyone with information about a Wednesday residential burglary is asked to contact the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department.

The break-in occurred at the John and Kathy Sullivan residence on South CR 600E, Pierceton, and resulted in the theft of 10 guns, including John Sullivan's service revolver. Sullivan is a lieutenant with the Indiana Conservation Department.

John Sullivan was out of town when the burglary took place and Kathy Sullivan discovered the break-in when she returned home shortly before 4 p.m. The break-in is believed to have occurred sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Most of the guns were taken from a gun cabinet, while one was removed from a bedroom.

No other items are believed missing.

Anyone who may have noticed anything unusual around the Sullivan residence or anyone with information regarding the burglary is asked to call the KCSD at 267-5667. [[In-content Ad]]
