On the subject of guns there is only one issue: the citizens’ ability to resist criminal government by the use of guerrilla warfare. There was no debate over people hunting, and there was no debate over people resisting home invasion or neighborhood gangs. That was a no-brainer.
I find it incredible that the same progressive forces that cry continually about a fascist government takeover would at the same time want to disarm themselves. That would be like the Jews in Germany petitioning the government to take their guns away.
