The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School and a 2007 graduate of Butler University. She is currently attending Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, where she will complete her doctor of medicine in 2011.

The groom-elect is a 2003 graduate of Washington High School and a 2008 graduate of Butler University. He is currently attending Indiana University School of Medicine.
