L. Duane and Clara Griner, of Warsaw and formerly of New Castle, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary May 12. L. Duane Griner and Clara Imbody were married at Salem United Church of Christ in Fort Wayne May 12, 1967, by the Rev. Williard Zinke.

He is retired from Dana Corp after 21-1/2 years and now is employed by the city of Warsaw as the industrial wastewater pre-treatment coordinator. She is an instructional assistant at Warsaw Community School Corp.

The couple have four children: Adam (and wife Stacy), Columbia City; Matt (and wife Stacy), McCordsville; Stuart, Chicago, Ill.; and April, Warsaw. They have six grandchildren.

The couple plan to celebrate the anniversary with a family trip to Branson, Mo., this summer.[[In-content Ad]]
