David and Jane Stands Grandstaff were married July 19, 1959, at Zion Lutheran Church, North Manchester, where they remain active members. The Rev. Homer Ogle officiated.

Attendants were Marcheta Knauff Tate and Mark Hillsamer.

The couple have two daughters, Erin (and spouse Steve) Jungbauer and Penny (and spouse Rick) Ruppert; and six grandchildren. A son, Jeff, is deceased.

Both are retired from Grandstaff Rendering Service and have been active in community betterment projects.

Anniversary celebration events include a reunion of the wedding party, a family gathering and a later cruise of the Nile River.
