WINONA LAKE - The Lancer women powered past Kalamazoo College 70-55 Saturday to pick up their second straight win.

Rebecca Wahlstrom led the Lancers with 20 points 11 boards. She had 10 points in the first 10 minutes of the game as Grace jumped out to an early 17-9 lead and never looked back. At the half, the Lancers were up 39-21.

Both teams had opportunities from the free throw line. Kalamzoo scored 20 points from the line in the second half, while Grace had 18.

Eve Arthur scored 15 points for Grace, including 8 for 8 from the free throw line. Amy Doron chipped in 10.

Grace (3-9) hosts Elmhurst at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Manchester Women Fall

At Huntington, the Manchester women's basketball team fell to Huntington 80-58 Saturday at the Merillat Complex.

Kim Barga was the lone Spartan to break double figures with 10 points. Huntington got 27 points from Nichole Gill and 22 points from Amy Bechtel.
