BOURBON - Grace M. Creviston, 86, of Tippecanoe, died at 12:12 a.m. Nov. 15, 2009, in Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth.

She was born May 3, 1923, in McEwin, Tenn., to Frank and Nettie Mae Tummins Watkins. Preceded in death by husbands Granville Baxter and Lloyd Ritchison, she married William Creviston on June 28, 1969, who died Oct. 2, 2001.

A resident of Tippecanoe since 1956, she retired as a seamstress from Hart Schaffner and Marx, Rochester.

Surviving are two sons, Fearol (and spouse Betty) Baxter and Robin Ritchison, all of Tippecanoe; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; three stepchildren, Lois and Rachael Baker and Carl Ritchison; two sisters, Ora Petty and Wanda Lane, both of Dixon, Tenn.; and four brothers: Al Watkins, Crawfordsville; Chuck and John Watkins, both of Dixon; and Bill Watkins, White Bluff, Tenn. She was preceded in death by a stepson, two sisters and two brothers.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, Bourbon, with Pastor Tom Padberg officiating. Burial will be in Tippecanoe Cemetery.

Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
