WINONA LAKE – Grace College’s athletic teams will be riding in style starting this fall with the unveiling of two new buses.
The identical buses, which seat 42 passengers apiece, feature a plush interior with six screens for watching game tape or movies.
Additionally the buses are prepared with a built-in navigation system and numerous luggage locations to make traveling more efficient and comfortable.
The buses are each covered in a Lancer-themed wrap, centering on the phrase “Lancer Nation” with “building champions of character” above it.
“The new transportation provided by the administration is a tremendous blessing to our institution and athletic programs,” said Grace director of athletics Chad Briscoe. “The additional transportation continues to assist our teams as they compete at a high level. The Grace athletic branding on each bus allows the institution to grow the Grace brand while promoting Lancer Athletics.”
During the 2012-13 athletic year, Grace’s teams advanced to seven postseason national tournaments, led by men’s basketball and their run to the NAIA national semifinals in Branson, Mo.[[In-content Ad]]
