Goshert Steps Down At Manchester

Goshert leaves the program as the longest coach in Squires' history, accumulating a 123-157 record at the school.
Ranked as the 44th winningest coach in Indiana boys basketball, Goshert had a 294-289 record in 27 seasons.
In his letter of resignation to the school administration and board, Goshert noted his appreciation for the support given to him over the years.
Along with stepping down as the basketball coach, Goshert is also resigning his varsity golf coach position after the spring 2009 season.
Manchester Athletic Director Kyle Wieland and Principal Nancy Alspaugh thanked Goshert for his years of service and success with the boys basketball program.
"Coach Goshert's loyalty, integrity, work ethic and lifelong influence on the lives of young men at MHS will be long remembered," Alspaugh said.[[In-content Ad]]
