Goshen Teen Arrested in Milford for Drugs

Kailer V. Slusser, 18, Goshen, was arrested and charged with dealing meth, possession of meth, carrying a handgun without a license and theft of a firearm.
According to a press release from Milford Town Marshal Rich Miotto, Milford police officers responded to the Stop-and-Go convenience store at 309 W. Catherine St., Milford, Sunday at 12:30 p.m. in regards to a report of a suspicious person. Arriving officers were directed to an individual near the gas pumps.
Officers approached the male subject, identified as Slusser, in his car and observed him shoving items into a bag in an erratic matter, according to the release.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Slusser was in possession of methamphetamine and with marijuana. As Slusser was being taken into custody, officers found a handgun in his possession that was allegedly stolen in South Bend, the release states. Officers also located other items associated with the sale and distribution of drug inside his vehicle.
He is currently being held on a $25,500 bond at the Kosciusko County Jail.
