Barbara and Greg Miller, Fort Myers, Fla., and Ronald Goodpaster, Kentucky, announce the engagement of their daughter, Suzanna J. Goodpaster, Louisville, Ky., to Ryan P. Brennan, Cleveland, Ohio. He is the son of George and Karleen Brennan, Warsaw.

The bride-to-be is a project manager at Humana Inc., Louisville. She graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 2000, and earned degrees in Spanish and psychology from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 2004. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in business administration from Webster University, completing the degree in spring 2010.

The groom-elect is a resident physician at the Cleveland (Ohio) Clinic Foundation, in the department of neurosurgery. He graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 2001, and studied biology, chemistry and military science at Indiana University, graduating in 2005. In 2009 he graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis. He was commissioned in 2005, as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He currently holds the rank of captain and is on educational delay to complete his neurosurgical training at the Cleveland Clinic. He will return to active duty at the completion of his training to serve with the Army Dept. of Neurosurgery.

The couple plan a Nov. 7 wedding in Fort Myers, Fla.
