Golly gee, Mr. Sanders has now become a member of the "dream team." My sources? If you read, you can find them. You see, my sources and quotes come from history and words of the writer. I do not quote the Internet, I don't own a computer.

My life revolves around God, family and friends, and my country in that order. How dare you play God and judge me. "Judge not, lest ye be judged."

To "clarify," Social Security is a tax we pay, an investment in our country of which we get a return when we retire. From Websters' Dictionary; "Medicare, a U.S. government insurance program that provides medical care for old people." We pay for this our entire working life and out of every Social Security check.

Christ never turned his back on the needy. Neither am I. My family has needs so my giving goes to those who really need help. Not to those too lazy to work or those who scam the system. When I worked for Hooks, I saw people who had assistance for baby milk, diapers, medicine, but left the store with cigs, junk food, heading to the liquor store for booze. "God helps those who help themselves," and charity begins at home. Am I clear yet?

No one who wants socialism loves this country. You infer that I don't like Obama because he is half black. Nothing could be further form the truth. I enjoy all races. I know of several black Americans who would do a wonderful job as president. One is a Democrat from the deep south. I really admire Condi Rice. Obama is incompetent and has a machine behind him intent on ruining our nation.

Ninety-nine percent of my letters have included a thank you to troops and veterans. They sacrifice so much for us. As a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, I give money, talents and time to our vets, their families, wounded warrior projects and donations for homeless vets. God bless them one and all.

I don't find you a nice person either, sir, and I take it that I won't run into you at a tea party, a 9-12 meeting or a rally in support of our constitution.

If you don't understand my letters, perhaps you should take a course in English. By Thomas Paine, "that it appeared clear to me, by the late providential turn of affairs, that God almighty was visibly on our side." My book, "The American Crisis" 1776, page 78, second paragraph. Atheist? No. I again rest my case. Thank God and our forefathers for creating the First Amendment. I intend to use the pen as my weapon against those who wish to take God and freedom from us.

You don't like it? Tough. So don't read my letters. But I will, by the grace of God, keep writing until my pen is "pried from my cold dead fingers." Live with it.
