Gloria A. Brubaker, 63, of Pierceton, passed away at 10 p.m.  Nov. 28, 2011, in Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.

She was born June 5, 1948, in Wabash, to Charles Fredrick Jr. and Doris Loretta Figert England. In 1970, in Wabash, she married Gary E. Brubaker, who survives.

She graduated from Northfield High School in 1966 and attended International Business College. She had several jobs through the years, including working for Star Financial Bank, Columbia City, and was a homemaker.

She resided in Pierceton for the past 35 years, where she was a member of Pierceton United Methodist Church and was active in the music ministry for the church. She also was a honorary member of the Pierceton Fire Department Auxiliary and a member of Golden April Home Economics Club, Pierceton.

Also surviving are three sons: Daniel E. (and spouse Tara) Brubaker, Fort Wayne; Matthew W. (and spouse Marsha) Brubaker, Pierceton; and Timothy C. (and spouse Kari) Brubaker, Columbia City; five grandchildren, Jenna, Andrew, Mallory, Aidan and Emily; a sister, Becky (and spouse Joseph) England Patten, Phoenix, Ariz.; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Andrew Charles England.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Pastor Holly White officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.

Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
