She was born Jan. 22, 1917, in Nappanee, to Lawrence and Clara Bainter Blosser. On Feb. 19, 1944, in Nappanee, she married Edwin A. Andrews, who died Dec. 20, 1995.
She graduated from Nappanee High School in 1935, received her teacher's degree from Manchester College and earned a bachelor's degree in education from Goshen College. She was a school teacher at York and Jefferson Township and taught for more than 35 years at Union Center Center, WaNee School Corp. She was a member of Union Center Church of the Brethren, where she was a former deaconess. She was a member of Elkhart County Homemaker Guild for more than 60 years and a member of Retired Teachers Association and Indiana State Teachers Association.
Surviving are a son, Larry Andrews, Nappanee; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son and a sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Union Center Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Jon Andrews officiating. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
