BOURBON – Glenn Leonard, 63, Bourbon, passed away at 4 a.m. Aug. 27, 2014, in Elkhart Hospice House with his family at his side.
He was born Sept. 19, 1950, in Connersville, Pa., to Homer and Bernadine Hart Leonard. On Aug. 18, 1979, in the Albright United Methodist Church, he married Cindy Holderman, who survives.
He has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a graduate of Triton High School in 1968. He was a punch press operator at Chore Time Brock, retiring in 2013, and he had worked at Biomet.
In his spare time, he loved fishing, hunting, camping, being outside, trap shooting clay pigeons and he really enjoyed playing with his grandchildren. He had also been a member of Albright United Methodist Church until it merged with other churches.
Also surviving are two daughters, Karissa (and spouse Randy) Ousley and Melissa Leonard, all of Bourbon; three grandchildren: Derek, Blake and Taylor Ousley; five sisters: Rachel Rodriguez, Becky (and spouse Jim) Scarberry, Carol (and spouse Dean) Swingle, Mary (and spouse Dave) McConnell and Patty (and spouse Andy) Cook; three brothers: Steve (and spouse Randy), Terry (and spouse Alma) and Dennis (and spouse Debra) Neidig. He was preceded in death by his father; two sisters, Sandy and Suzann Leonard; a brother, Gene Leonard; and his stepfather, Joseph Neidig.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Cemetery, Gumwood Road, west of Bourbon.
