MILFORD - Glenn L. Brown, 92, of Greencroft Healthcare, Goshen, died of congestive heart failure at 5 p.m. Nov. 30, 2008, in Goshen.

He was born July 28, 1916, in Milford, to Jacob and Nellie Whetten Brown. On March 22, 1941, he married June Conklin, who preceded him in death.

A Milford resident until 1965, he also lived in West Lafayette. He was a retired assistant secretary and corporate secretary at Johnson Controls (formerly Penn Controls), Goshen, and served on the Milford Town Board from 1957-59, and Lakeland (now Wawasee) Community School Corporation Board from 1962-65. He attended Milford United Methodist Church. He was a member of American Legion and the President's Council at Purdue University, where he also was a member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity.

Surviving are a daughter, Phyllis G., Warrenville, Ill.; a son, Ronald C., San Marcos, Texas; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home, Milford, with Pastor Rob Nelsons officiating. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery with military graveside services.

Calling is one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
