MILFORD - Glenn E. Price Sr., 93, of Milford, died Dec. 18, 2010, in LuAnn Nursing Home, Nappanee.

He was born Oct. 22, 1917, in Milford, to Charles and Clara Leatherman Price. On Aug. 23, 1941, in Milford, he married Kathryn Hartter, who survives.

He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He retired as a rural letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Carrier in Milford after 25 years. He was a Milford volunteer fireman and was one of the original duck farmers of 25 years for Maple Leaf Duck Farms, Milford, where he also served on the board. He was a lifelong Milford resident and graduated from Milford High School. He was a member of the American Legion and Milford Apostolic Christian Church.

Also surviving are two daughters, Susan (and spouse Bob) Cockburn, Milford, and Kathy (and spouse Mike) Kohl, Elkhart; two sons, Stanley (and spouse Ginger) Price, Osprey, Fla., and Philip (and spouse Janie) Price, Milford; a sister, Thelma Crow, Syracuse; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, three sisters and three brothers.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Milford Apostolic Christian Church with the ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery. Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford.
