Gladys G. Cromas, 85, of 900 Provident Drive, Warsaw, died at 12:50 a.m. April 28, 2010, in Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.

She was born Jan. 3, 1925, in Alum Bridge, W.Va., to Charles and Mary Spencer Woofter. She was formerly married to Royal Regenos and then was married to Cecil M. Cromas. They both preceded her in death.

She was a retired barber, working at the West Side Barber Shop, Marion. She was a past member of Marion West Eighth St. Wesleyan Church. She was a Kosciusko County resident for the past 40 years.

Surviving are a brother, Denver Woofter, Standwood, Mich.; a sister, Willa Jean Walton, Camden, W.Va.; two stepsons, Richard E. Cromas, Orlando, Fla., and Jerry W. Cromas, Clairmont, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Judith Ann Voland, Marion; a grandson, Michael Caudill; two great-grandchildren, Sheena and Dallas; a son-in-law, Arnold Caudill, Marion; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sheila Caudill; three brothers; and three sisters.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Mason Health & Rehabilitation Center, 900 Provident Drive, Warsaw, with Pastor Dennis Bolenbacher officiating. Burial will be in Park View Cemetery, Alexandria.

No calling is planned.
