Girl Scouts Hold Winter Ceremony

Girl Scout Troop 10068 held its winter award ceremony Dec. 17. During this award ceremony the Scouts presented Teddy Bears to a couple of local EMTs. They also received badges for their hard work and for volunteering at the Animal Welfare League, singing Christmas carols at Mason's Nursing Home and many other accomplishments. The girls are fourth-, fifth- and sixth-graders from local elementary schools, including Harrison, Sacred Heart, Jefferson and Leesburg.
