Harlan and Karen Gingrich, Davison, Mich., announce the engagement of their daughter, Alison Michele Gingrich, Davison, to Kory Matthew Lantz, Milford. He is the son of Mark and Cindi Lantz, Milford.

The bride-to-be graduated from Davison High School in 2005, and earned a bachelor's degree in youth ministry from Bethel College.

The groom-elect graduated from Wawasee High School in 2005, and earned a bachelor's degree in sports management and a minor in missions from Bethel College in 2009.

The couple plan an Oct. 10 wedding.
