Gary and Linda Gibbins, 5484 N. Sawgrass Lane, Leesburg, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary July 3, 2010.

Gary and the former Linda Piper were married July 3, 1960, at First Baptist Church, White Hall, Ill., by the Rev. Harry Chasteen.

They are the parents of two children, Bradley (and spouse Jackie), Powder Springs, Ga., and Jennifer (and spouse RJ) Hall, Warsaw; and four grandchildren.

They lived in Roodhouse, Ill., for 23 years before moving to the Chicago suburb of Rolling Meadows. They lived there for 20 years until they retired in 2002. They later moved to Warsaw to be near family.

They have kept busy traveling, entertaining friends, collecting antiques and mostly loving to be with grandchildren.

They will celebrate with a family dinner to be held at their daughter's residence.[[In-content Ad]]
