He was born July 15, 1933, in Warsaw, to Jesse and Inez Klinger Pfeiffer.
He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War on a submarine. He enjoyed playing softball and going camping with the Kosko Kampers Klub, carving walking canes and he loved to decorate “over and above” for Christmas.
He was a tool and die maker, working for Clausing Industrial Co. and Zimmer Inc.
Surviving are two daughters, Tina (and spouse Robert) Keim, Goshen, and Lisa Jones, Bordentown, N.J.; a brother, Frank (and spouse Rebecca) Pfeiffer, Warsaw; two grandchildren, Andy Jones, Bordentown, and Christian Pfeiffer-Laguerre, Goshen; and two step-grandchildren, Timothy and Alex Keim, Goshen. He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Julie Kay Pfeiffer.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Stony Point Cemetery, Clunette, with Pastor Tracey Pfeiffer officiating, and military honors by American Legion Post 49, VFW Post 1126 and the Indiana Funeral Honor Guard.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral, Warsaw.
