George Bruce Snell, 82, of 709 Bartol Drive Apt. 1, Warsaw, died at 8:25 p.m. March 17, 2007, in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.

He was born July 14, 1924, in Warsaw, to Richard and Naomi Koontz Snell. On April 6, 1946, he married Esther M. Arnold, who died July 18, 2000.

A lifetime Warsaw resident, he worked at Warsaw and Huffer foundries and retired from Dalton Foundry in 1989. He was a 60-year member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Warsaw.

Surviving are a son, Paul R. (and wife Kathy) Snell, North Webster; a daughter, Mrs. Rick (Mary Lou) Snyder, Warsaw; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Kiser, North Webster, and Mary Mercer, Dunnellon, Fla. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Margie Lou Snell; a sister, Lila Robinson; and a brother, Earl Snell.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Luther Strasen officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
