She was born Dec. 4, 1923, in Warsaw, to Ernest and Dorothea Longfellow Lozier. Her first husband, William A. Miller, preceded her in death. She then married Donald Ray Ernsberger, who also preceded her in death.
She was a 1941 graduate of Warsaw High School. She retired in 1988 from K.G. Gemeinhardt as a flute and piccolo assembler. She was an avid collector and registered antique dealer for many years.
Surviving are five children, Victoria “Vicki” (and spouse Tom) Wainwright, Eric “Rick” (and spouse Beverly) Miller, Rebecca “Becki” Avery (and Kirk Veer) and Gary C. Ernsberger, all of Elkhart, and Thomas “Tom” (and spouse Amy) Miller, Edwardsburg, Mich.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; seven great- great-grandchildren; a sister, Marilyn Sells, Silver Lake; and a brother, Lawrence (and spouse Esther) Lozier, Decatur, Mich. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Tucker; a grandson, Phillip D. Taylor; a great-grandson, Phillip Tracey; and two brothers, Jim and Fred Lozier.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home, 700 E. Jackson Blvd., Elkhart, officiated by Pastor Jeff Lewis of Three Cross Ministries. Burial will be in Prairie Street Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
