ROCHESTER - Genevere C. See, 88, of 827 W. 13th St., Rochester, was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away at 1:52 p.m. Nov. 24, 2010, in Life Care Center.

She was born Nov. 5, 1922, in Rochester, to Harry and Bertha Wolf Cook, who preceded her in death. On Feb. 7, 1942, in Rochester, she married Delmos J. Duncan, who preceded her in death. Later, she married Russell See, in Madison, who preceded her in death. She enjoyed residence in Fulton County her entire life.

She was a former telephone operator with the Rochester Telephone Company for a number of years. She was employed by TORX (Accumet Technologies) and later retired. Following her retirement she enjoyed crocheting colorful afghans for the family and special friends. To relax she listened to Christian gospel music. She always looked forward to visits with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the arrivals and visits from the great-great-grandchildren. During her stay at Life Care, she made many friendships she treasured with her new family, the staff and residents in her neighborhood.

She is lovingly remembered by two sons, Bill (and spouse Dara) Duncan, Thailand, and Phillip (and spouse Judy) Duncan, Rochester; four granddaughters: Christine (and spouse Paul) Schumack, Boca Raton, Fla.; Cathy (and spouse Greg) Lowe, Westfield; Angela Duncan, Anchorage, Alaska; Ashley Duncan, San Diego, Calif; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Dick (and spouse DeDe) Cook, Shawano, Wis., and a half brother, Harry Jr. (and wife Nora) Cook, Johnson, City, Tenn. She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Services will be at noon Saturday at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester, with Pastor Larry Pyeatt officiating. Burial will be in Rochester IOOF Cemetery.

Calling is two hours prior to services at the funeral home.
