AKRON - Geneva Miller, 92, formerly of Akron, died at 1:30 a.m. Feb. 5, 2008, in Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester, where she resided.

She was born March 5, 1915, in Wabash County, to Charles A. and Eva May Shaw Ramsey. On April 25, 1936, in Chili, she married George J. Miller, who died Sept. 7, 2004.

She was a homemaker and a member of Silver Creek Church of God. She loved the Lord and lived her life to serve Him. She was a wonderful wife and mother.

Surviving are two daughters, Janice (and spouse Bill) Yeager, Akron, and Carolyn (and spouse Terry) Shumaker, Indianapolis; a son, Richard Miller, Mentone; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson; three sisters, Agnes Alexander, Edith Merle Crumrine and Anna Marie Abner; and four brothers, Paul, Verlin, Roscoe and Walter Ramsey.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Silver Creek Church of God, 6504 W. CR 1300S, Silver Lake, with Pastor Thomas Craig officiating. Burial will be in Silver Creek Cemetery, Silver Lake.

Calling is from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church.

Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, is in charge of arrangements.
