She was born Aug. 4, 1921, in Kosciusko County, to Isaac and Vida Stuckey Horn. On Jan. 3, 1942, in Mentone, she married James B. Beeson, who died April 5, 2002.
She was a homemaker. She graduated from Mentone High School in 1939. She was a member of the Harrison Center Church where she played the piano. She loved to crotchet.
Surviving are a son, Larry (and spouse Tana) Beeson, Bremen; a grandson, Ryan (and spouse Catherine) Beeson, Noblesville; three great-grandsons, Nicholas, Jacob and Andrew Beeson; and a brother, Eldon Horn, Warsaw. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Wilson, Scott and Owen Horn; and two sisters, Esther Sarber and Gaynell Crieghton.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone, with Pastor Larry Goss officiating. Burial will be in Harrison Center Cemetery, Etna Green.
Calling is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
