JD and Bonita Geiger will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Sept. 12, 2008. JD Geiger and Bonita McLallin were married Sept. 12, 1948, in the Sparta Church, Kimmell, with the Rev. Geeding officiating.

The couple have three children: Dawn Fisher; Jill (and spouse Dean) Miner, and Brian Geiger and companion Paula Osborn. The couple have five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate the anniversary with a trip to Savannah, Ga., and Charleston, S.C.
