Ashley Rose Gearhart and Christopher Joseph Craft were married Oct. 27, 2007, at Beaver Dam United Methodist Church, Akron, with Pastor Butch Troke officiating. The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Trillia Gearhart, Akron; the groom's parents are Paul and Fonscene Craft, Rochester.

Maid of honor was Emily Gearhart, sister of the bride, and matron of honor was Amy Murphy, Akron. Bridesmaids were Allison Burkholder, Nappanee, and Caitlin Barts, Rochester, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Emily Murphy, Akron.

Best man was Bret Torpy, Mentone. Groomsmen were Dave Bussard, Tippecanoe; Joey Francis, Mentone; and Cory Gearhart, Akron, brother of the bride. Ring bearers were Alex and Hunter Craft, sons of the groom. Ushers were Paul Craft, Rochester, brother of the groom, and Clinton Barts, Rochester, cousin of the bride.

A dinner and dance reception was held at the Eagles Lodge in Rochester.

The bride graduated from Tippecanoe Valley High School, Akron, and attended Huntington College and Ivy Tech. She is a bank teller at Beacon Credit Union.

The groom is a Tippecanoe Valley High School graduate and is employed by I.M.I., Kewanna.

After a honeymoon in Myrtle Beach, the couple reside in Akron.[[In-content Ad]]
