Gayle L. Miner, 71, passed away at 5:20 a.m. Feb. 6, 2016, in her Huffman Lake home.
She was born April 11, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Leonard and Olga Greco Schneider. On July 21, 1968, in Atwood, she married Ray A. Miner, who survives in Warsaw.
She is a 1962 graduate of Warsaw High School. After high school she attended the John Herron Art Institute, Indianapolis.
She lived in Kosciusko County most of her life.
She worked for Warsaw Community Schools in the Central Administration Office for 30 years, retiring in 2006.
She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and Rozella Golf Course. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and spending time with her grandchildren
Also surviving are two sons, Jeff (and spouse Sherry) Miner, and Matt (and spouse LeeAnn) Miner, all of Warsaw; three grandchildren, Craig, Danielle, and Elizabeth, all at home; a sister, Joy L. Drury, St. Louis, Mo.; a mother-in-law, Betty Miner, Warsaw; and a sister-in-law, Carolyn Miner, Muncie. She was preceded in death by her parents; a father-in-law, Harold Miner; and two brothers-in-law, Mitch Drury and Don Miner.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Jim Lawson, Otterbein United Methodist Church, Atwood, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw
Calling is from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
