Jerry Garris and the former Ilant Howard were married June 11, 1960, at Eel River Church of the Brethren, near Silver Lake, by the Rev. Custer.

They are the parents of the late Jerry L. Garris, Tim Garris and Angie Garris. They also have 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to the celebration at 1 p.m. Saturday at Free United Baptist Church, Ind. 13, Pierceton.
