NORTH MANCHESTER - Galen S. Judy, 92, of Fort Collins, Colo., and formerly of Sidney, died at 8:20 a.m. May 29, 2007, in his residence.

He was born May 27, 1915, in Carroll County, to M.P. and Clara Elizabeth Sites Judy. On Sept. 3, 1938, he married Anna R. Casper, who survives.

He was a retired farmer and a foreman for the Indiana State Highway Department. He was a 1934 Chester High School graduate, a member of Liberty Mills Church of the Brethren and a former member of Sidney Lions Club.

Surviving are a son, Jerry Judy, Greeley, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. Phillip (Pat) Kiser, Provo, Utah, and Mrs. Phil (Gale) DeTurck, Fort Collins; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with the Revs. John Whitcraft and Opal Nees officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester.

Calling is two hours prior to the service Sunday at the funeral home.
