Ronald and Carma Gagnon will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at their home at Miller's Mobile Home Park, Mentone, from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday. They were married Aug. 14, 1959, in Akron.

They have three sons: Dan (and spouse Diana) Backus, Silver Lake; Steve (and spouse Linda) Backus, Akron; and Steven (and spouse Kathy) Gagnon, Claypool; two daughters, Barbara Heinbaugh, Wabash, and the late Debra Backus; 13 grandchildren (one deceased); and 26 great-grandchildren.
