Fred and Carol Gagliardi, Warsaw, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary April 14, 2013.
Fred and the former Carol Widing were married April 14, 1973, at St. Gertrude’s Church, Chicago, Ill.
They met while working together at United Conveyor Corp., Chicago, in 1971. Fred was transferred to United Conveyor’s plant in Mishawaka in 1978. He later went to work at OEC, Warsaw, and retired from his position as director of manufacturing in 1999.
Carol was a secretary at several companies in South Bend and Elkhart.  
The couple have lived in Warsaw since 1993.
