He was born June 2, 1925, in Fort Wayne, to Jacob E. and Leota C. Hinton Miller.
He moved to Nappanee in 1969 from Fort Wayne. He retired from Nunemaker Coin Shop, Bremen. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of American Numismatics Society and the Carnival Glass Society.
Survivors include four stepchildren: Brian (and spouse Tracy) Burke, Elkhart; Shawn Burke, Las Vegas, N.V., Darin Burke, Syracuse; and Damon (and spouse Jude) Burke, Wakarusa; and seven step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Thompson-Lengacher and Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
