Franks Receives Scholarship

INDIANAPOLIS - The National FFA Organization awarded a $1,000 Cargill Community scholarship to Lindsey Franks, a Tippecanoe Valley High School student.

Franks plans to use the funds to pursue a degree at the University of Saint Francis.

Cargill, as a special project of the National FFA Foundation, sponsors the scholarship.

This scholarship is one of 1,462 awarded through the National FFA Scholarship Program this year. Scholarship recipients were selected from 7,810 applicants from across the country. Selections were based on the applicant's academic record, FFA and other school and community activities, supervised agricultural experience program in agricultural education and future goals.
